Artist Statement
I am drawn to what rises — birds, light, hope. My paintings are not about escape but about ascent: the moment when something heavy becomes weightless. Acrylic gives me the speed I need to capture this. It dries fast, like a breath, and each layer is a decision that cannot be undone.
