Artist Statement
Reality is not stable. Memory distorts. Perception bends under pressure. I paint the moment when something recognizable becomes something else — when a face becomes a landscape, when a room becomes a cage. Acrylic lets me work fast enough to catch these moments before they resolve into something comfortable.
