VanArtHub's articles are written and edited by our in-house curatorial team, based at our gallery at 1242 Davie Street in Vancouver, Canada. We are the same people who select the artists we represent, write their biographies, photograph their work, and pack every painting that ships to a collector.

We do not use a syndicated content service or an anonymous "editorial team" account for our advice content. When you read a buying guide, a care guide, or an artist feature on this site, it reflects what we have actually learned from selecting artists, handling original paintings, and answering buyer questions day to day.

What our experience is based on

Curating original work

We represent a small, selected group of contemporary artists working in oil, acrylic, watercolour, coloured pencil, graphite, and photography. Every artist on this site has a dedicated profile with a real biography and artist statement, which we write directly with each artist.

Handling and shipping original art

We photograph, pack, and ship every sold painting ourselves, to collectors across Canada, the USA, and the UAE. Our shipping and care guidance comes from that practice, not from a general research pass.

Working with designers and buyers

We source and place original paintings for interior designers, hospitality groups, and private collectors, which shapes our writing on choosing art for specific rooms and commercial spaces.
