About the Artist
Roshan is a Vancouver-based painter whose work occupies the space between spiritual inquiry and abstract expression. Drawing from both Eastern philosophical traditions and Western modernist painting, Roshan creates works that function as meditative objects — invitations to stillness in a culture of distraction. The Tree of Life series, in particular, has become a signature exploration of interconnectedness, growth, and the cyclical nature of existence.
Artist Statement
Painting is my meditation. Every canvas is a conversation with something larger than myself — call it spirit, call it nature, call it the unknown. I am not interested in representation. I am interested in presence. Can a painting hold silence? Can colour create stillness? These are the questions I live inside.

Organic forms and branching structures against luminous, gradient backgrounds. A palette dominated by golds, deep blues, warm ochres, and soft whites. The Tree of Life motif recurs throughout — rendered in abstracted, almost calligraphic variations.
