About this artwork

Artwork Statement

This vertical painting depicts two figures, seemingly women, seated and embracing. The figure on the left is positioned slightly behind and to the left of the figure on the right. Both figures have their eyes closed, suggesting a state of calm or introspection. The left figure's hair is dark green, while the right figure's hair is light green-yellow with a pink flower or bow near the top of her head. Their skin tones are rendered with a soft, translucent quality, featuring washes of pale pink, yellow, and light blue. The background is a soft blend of light greens, yellows, and browns, with darker, more defined shapes in the lower right corner. The overall palette is pastel and ethereal, contributing to a serene and intimate mood.

Interior Design Use

This artwork would introduce a soft, contemplative atmosphere to a bedroom or a quiet living room. Its gentle colors and intimate subject matter would complement a space designed for relaxation and personal reflection, adding a touch of serene beauty.
